A small, locally owned practice serving Whitby, Oshawa, Ajax, Pickering and Clarington. Real PSWs you'll meet first. Published rates, no quote-on-call. We direct-bill VAC, WSIB, Manulife and Sun Life.
We are a small practice on purpose. You'll meet your matched PSW before any care begins, and one or two familiar faces will return each visit — never a different caregiver every shift.

Every plan is shaped to one person's day, never a fixed package.
Bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, mobility — patiently, with dignity preserved.
A friendly visit, a shared meal, a walk in the garden. Peace of mind for family caregivers.
PSWs trained in Gentle Persuasive Approaches — calm, respectful support through cognitive change.
Discharge prep, mobility, follow-up appointments, daily check-ins. Often direct-billed.
A trusted, calm presence at night so the rest of the household can finally sleep.
Continuous support with a small rotating team — continuity of caregiver always preserved.
Most agencies hide what they cost. We don't. The price you see is what every family pays — adjusted only by funding source.
For short check-ins, companionship, light personal care.
For 4+ hours per day, 5+ days per week — recovery, dementia, ongoing care.
Overnight stays, weekend cover, full live-in. Custom-quoted for your situation.
If you call us, here is exactly what happens — and how quickly.
Most calls are answered personally, by the founder. We listen first, ask what you need, and book a free in-home visit.
Within 2 business hoursA free, no-obligation visit. We meet your loved one, assess care needs, walk through the home, and answer every question.
Within 24–48 hoursA written care plan. One or two named PSWs. A daily care log shared with family. Adjust hours or pause anytime.
First visit within 48 hoursAfter fifteen years working as a PSW in hospitals and large agencies, I started this small practice for one reason. I kept watching families get a different caregiver each shift, with no one truly responsible for their loved one. So we built the opposite.
One or two PSWs your family will know by name. Transparent rates published right here, not quoted on a phone call. A care plan we shape together — and stick to.
If you call, the chances are I will answer. If your situation changes, I will personally rework the plan with you. We are small on purpose, and we are not planning to grow past being able to know every family by name.
They came within 24 hours of my call from the hospital. Mom's PSW is patient, kind, and texts me a daily update. I can finally rest at night.
After Bayshore took five days to confirm a start, this practice had a PSW with us the next morning. The same person every visit — wonderful for my father.
They handled the Veterans Affairs paperwork directly. I didn't chase anyone. The PSW is warm and knowledgeable with my husband, who has dementia.
Our published rate is $38/hour for hourly care (3-hour minimum) and $34/hour on a daily plan (4+ hours/day, 5+ days/week). Live-in care starts at $295/day. We are the only practice in Durham that publishes rates openly. Most families pay nothing out-of-pocket because we direct-bill VAC, WSIB, Manulife, Sun Life, and most insurers.
PSWs are trained to assist with the activities of daily living: bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, mobility, meal preparation, light housekeeping, medication reminders, and companionship. PSWs cannot administer medications, perform clinical procedures, or make medical decisions — those require a registered nurse, which we can also arrange.
Yes — continuity is core to our model. We assign one or two primary PSWs to your family plus a familiar backup, rather than rotating staff each shift. Your loved one will know each PSW by name within the first week.
Every care plan includes a designated backup PSW who has already met your loved one. We never send a stranger without a prior introduction.
Yes. We direct-bill Veterans Affairs Canada (VIP), WSIB, Manulife, Sun Life, Canada Life, RBC Insurance, and most auto insurance attendant care benefits (SABS). You sign a one-page authorization and we handle the paperwork.
No. Adjust hours, pause, or cancel any time with 24 hours' notice. We earn your continued business by delivering — not by locking you in.
Most families have a free in-home visit within 24 hours and care begins within 24–48 hours after that. Urgent post-discharge cases can sometimes start same-day.
Every PSW is registered on the Ontario PSW Registry, holds a current Vulnerable Sector Check, valid CPR & First Aid certification, $2M liability coverage, and references checked from at least two prior care placements.
Same-day visits across Whitby and neighbouring municipalities. Toronto coverage arriving 2026.
A free, no-obligation in-home visit at a time that suits you.
